Senior Application Developer (Mainframe) (contract position)

About the Role

The role involves Senior Application Developer (Mainframe) initiatives, managing teams, and ensuring the successful execution for large-scale enterprise systems for one of our prestigious client.

***The Candidate shall meet the qualifications below:

1. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming. At least four (4)years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.

2. A minimum of five (5) years of experience providing COBOL/DB2/CICS/JCL programming services.

3. A minimum of five (5) years of experience integrating mainframe applications with distributed or cloud platforms (e.g., APIs, ETL tools, messaging solutions such as IBM MQ, or data platforms such as Snowflake), including designing or modifying mainframe components to support cross-platform data exchange.

4. *Possession of a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering

field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

5. Eight (8) or more years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming. At least five (5) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.

6. Eight (8) or more years of experience providing COBOL/DB2/CICS/JCL programming services.

7. Eight (8) or more years of experience integrating mainframe applications with distributed or cloud platforms (e.g., APIs, ETL tools, messaging solutions such as IBM MQ, or data platforms such as Snowflake), including designing or modifying mainframe components to support cross-platform data exchange.

8. *Possession of a master's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
