ServiceNow Portal Developer (Contract) - Remote (India)

We are hiring for a global consulting client undergoing a major ServiceNow transformation.

They are building a modern Employee Center (“portal of portals”) to unify HR, IT, and business services into a single, seamless digital experience.

About the Role

This is a front-end + experience-focused ServiceNow role .

You will be responsible for building high-quality, user-friendly portals and guided workflows , combining UI Builder, Portal development, Flows, and Playbooks .

️ Key Responsibilities

Design and develop ServiceNow Portal / Employee Center / UI Builder workspaces Build responsive, intuitive UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular/AngularJS preferred) Develop and manage catalog items, record producers, and portal pages Work with Flow Designer (flows & subflows) to support business processes Design and implement ServiceNow Playbooks for structured case handling Customize widgets, components, and pages to enhance user experience Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions Ensure performance, scalability, and usability of portal solutions

✅ Required Skills (MANDATORY)

Strong hands-on experience with: ServiceNow Portal / UI Builder / Employee Center Good front-end skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS (Angular/AngularJS preferred) Strong experience with: Flow Designer (flows & subflows) ServiceNow Playbooks (CSM / HRSD) ← must-have Experience with REST APIs / integrations Ability to design clean, intuitive, user-focused solutions Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills

⭐ Nice to Have

Experience with Now Experience UI Framework Exposure to portal modernization / migration projects Basic UX understanding (Figma or similar tools)

Role Details

Location: India (Fully Remote) Contract Role (12 months) + Extension Working Hours: UK hours (8 hours/day) Start: Immediate / short notice preferred Day Rate: Up to ₹20,000/day (inclusive of 10% TDS, based on experience) Payment: 21 days from invoice date
