Job Title: ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) Location: Remote with 25% travel required Job Type: Contract
Job Description We are seeking ServiceNow Certified Technical Architects (CTAs) to support a large-scale public sector ServiceNow implementation. This role requires strong hands-on architecture and configuration experience across ServiceNow PSDS, Configurable Workspaces, Flow Designer, and platform security design. The ideal candidate will combine technical leadership with execution depth and will work closely with program leadership, architects, developers, and agency stakeholders to ensure that architecture decisions are accurately translated into scalable, secure, and implementation-ready solutions.
The CTA will be responsible for hands-on configuration of Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS) modules, workspace personalization, workflow enablement, and security hardening activities across the platform. This role will also support solution execution for citizen-facing and caseworker-facing capabilities, align implementation with State architecture standards, and help ensure a technically sound delivery model across the DSS instance environment.
Required Qualifications
Certified ServiceNow Technical Architect (CTA). Minimum 5+ years of experience building custom public sector ServiceNow applications. Strong expertise in ServiceNow Configurable Workspaces. Strong expertise in Flow Designer and workflow-based solution design. Experience with PSDS module configuration and customization. Experience with workspace personalization, platform configuration, and technical implementation support. Experience with ServiceNow security architecture, including platform hardening and secure design practices. Strong ability to work across architecture, development, and stakeholder teams in a structured delivery environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting citizen-facing public sector portals and case management solutions. Experience with ServiceNow Vault or platform security hardening in regulated environments. Familiarity with identity integration patterns such as SAML/OIDC. Experience working on state government, Medicaid, or eligibility modernization programs. Experience supporting new instance setups, PSDS deployments, and enterprise platform alignment.
