ServiceNow Tech Lead – Inventory Management (1y contract)

Role: ServiceNow Technical Lead (Sr level)

Location: downtown Toronto

Hybrid Model: 2 days a week on site

Duration: 1 year (very possible extension)

Rate: around 90-95/hr (depends on expertise level and experience)

Main Deliverables

• Lead the transition of ServiceNow Inventory Management capabilities from a third-party provider to an in-house team
• Stabilize and enhance ITOM/ITAM capabilities while addressing audit-driven remediations
• Provide technical leadership for CMDB accuracy, service mapping, and discovery at scale

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience in large enterprise environments
• Deep expertise in ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, Service Mapping, and Discovery
• Proven experience supporting hundreds of service maps (700+ preferred)
• Strong HAM and SAM implementation and operational experience
• Experience integrating and managing endpoint data via JAMF and Intune
• Background supporting ServiceNow within financial services environments
• Experience reviewing audit reports and implementing remediation aligned to bank standards
• Prior ServiceNow implementation and steady-state operational support experience

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for bringing ServiceNow Inventory Management in-house from a professional services provider
• Own and improve ITOM/ITAM, CMDB health, service mapping, and discovery processes
• Lead remediation activities driven by internal and external audit findings
• Provide technical mentorship to junior ServiceNow team members (team size: 5–6)
• Support planning and execution aligned with regulatory and audit expectations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure ServiceNow aligns with enterprise and banking standards
