Role Overview

The ServiceNow Vulnerability Program Manager will lead a vulnerability remediation domain within the Vulnerability Remediation Support Analyst team, driving the modernization and operationalization of vulnerability management through ServiceNow. This role is critical to enabling a DevSecOps approach—integrating security, automation, and operational excellence into the full lifecycle of vulnerability remediation and patching.

As a strategic leader and platform expert, this role partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Information Security, and Application teams to embed vulnerability management into delivery pipelines, streamline remediation workflows, and continuously reduce enterprise risk.

Key Responsibilities

Own and lead a designated vulnerability remediation and patching domain using ServiceNow Vulnerability Management as the system of recordPrepare domains and the enterprise for the ServiceNow transition by standardizing workflows, data models, and remediation processesDrive DevSecOps-aligned practices by integrating vulnerability remediation into operational and delivery workflowsServe as a trusted subject matter expert on vulnerability remediation processes, tooling, data, and stakeholder engagementProvide strategic leadership across domains to influence adoption, automation, and continuous process improvementAct as the primary support and escalation point for vulnerability management inquiries via established tech support channelsServe as first-line liaison to CTI/APSE GBS Operations and Engineering teams executing vulnerability remediation and patchingTriage, prioritize, resolve, or escalate vulnerability remediation issues with a strong focus on risk-based decision makingIdentify and drive automation, workflow optimization, and data quality improvements within ServiceNowCoordinate remediation initiatives across application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure timely risk reductionPartner with Information Security and the business to align remediation strategies with enterprise risk tolerance and funding prioritiesProduce data-driven insights, dashboards, and executive-level reporting on vulnerability posture, trends, and remediation performanceRequired Qualifications

6+ years of experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Management, including workflow configuration and operational usage6+ years of experience in enterprise Vulnerability Management and RemediationStrong understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure-by-design delivery, and vulnerability remediation at scaleProven experience triaging and managing security vulnerabilities in complex, matrixed enterprise environmentsDemonstrated ability to lead programs, projects, and cross-functional initiatives end-to-endStrong analytical skills with experience translating data into actionable insights and executive-level messagingExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes and build trusted partnerships at senior leadership levelsSelf-starter who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and embraces continuous learningPreferred Qualifications
