Job Title: ServiceNow Technical Lead Primary Location: Remote with Travel (1 - 2 times per year to Chicago, IL) Position Type: Direct Hire
Overview TalentFish is casting a line for a ServiceNow Technical Lead to join a high-impact, collaborative technology team within a large, enterprise financial services environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions while leading a team of developers and partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders.
You will play a critical role in driving platform strategy, ensuring development quality, and delivering scalable, innovative solutions aligned to business objectives.
What You'll Do Lead the design, architecture, development, and support of ServiceNow applications and integrations Translate business and system requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions Develop and enhance ServiceNow modules, workflows, and custom applications Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to define features, estimates, and delivery plans Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure alignment with architectural standards Mentor and guide developers, including offshore and vendor resources Oversee application support, defect resolution, and production stability Create and maintain architecture diagrams and technical documentation Drive continuous improvement across development processes and platform capabilities
What You Bring 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience Strong expertise in ServiceNow architecture, design, and development Experience leading teams and managing onshore/offshore resources and vendors Deep knowledge of ITSM (Incident, Request, Change, Knowledge Management)
Advanced experience in at least two of the following: IT Asset Management (HAM/SAM) Security Operations (Vulnerability Response, SIR) Strategic Portfolio Management CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Hybrid methodologies Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Certifications (Highly Preferred) ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

Compensation Information The expected salary range for this position is $158,000 - $199,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
