Senior Software Engineer - ServiceNow Expert

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in ServiceNow, where you will leverage your expertise in developing robust solutions and understanding of modern engineering practices. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is not only proficient with the ServiceNow platform—covering custom application development, scripting, and integration—but also possesses knowledge of tools and techniques that enhance automation and integration, especially within an AWS-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create scalable, maintainable solutions across various ServiceNow products and modules.
• Develop and manage custom applications and scripted REST APIs within the ServiceNow environment.
• Collaborate with Product Management and various stakeholders to identify business challenges and deliver user-centric, effective solutions.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and tools to ensure seamless interoperability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including grooming, refinement, and retrospectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and peers.
• Monitor and support deployed solutions, ensuring they remain performant, reliable, and maintainable.
• Stay abreast of platform capabilities, industry trends, and best practices, sharing insights with the wider engineering community.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a Senior ServiceNow Developer with extensive platform knowledge.
• Strong skills in custom application development, scripted REST APIs, Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ITSM best practices.
• Experience in managing code releases and deployments using scoped applications and automated pipelines.
• In-depth understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.
• Awareness of AWS engineering practices and the ability to collaborate with cloud-native teams.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or integration tasks is a valuable advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation: The base salary ranges from $99,000.00 to $165,000.00, depending on the location and the candidate's skills and experience. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives.
