ServiceNow Developer Role Overview

As a ServiceNow developer, you will play a key role in enhancing our IT capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to work fully remotely and collaborate with various teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT service management strategies and plans to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute recommendations for implementation consideration spanning across service management policies, guidelines, and processes.
• Collaborate with remote teams and clients, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Design and develop queries, reports, and dashboards using ServiceNow capabilities.
• Configure and design ServiceNow modules and forms to meet business requirements.
• Administer ServiceNow applications, ensuring security and workflow configurations are up-to-date.
• Develop scoped applications and service portals within the ServiceNow platform.
• Provide additional support based on subject matter expertise.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience. A minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience and 6+ years as a ServiceNow developer is required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer in various roles.
• Thorough knowledge of the ServiceNow System.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, XML.
• Experience in REST, SOAP services, etc.
• Understanding of ITIL and/or ITIL Certified.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude.
• ServiceNow Administrator Certification.
