ServiceNow Project Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of critical ServiceNow initiatives. This hybrid role combines strong project management expertise with Agile Scrum leadership to drive successful project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, or module rollouts, and act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycles while fostering Agile best practices and ensuring continuous team improvement.

Key Responsibilities: Project Management:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow projects including scope, budget, timelines, and quality.
• Define project charters, roadmaps, work breakdown structures, and provide regular status reporting.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Ensure adherence to project governance standards and compliance with PMO frameworks.

Scrum Master:

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor the development team on Agile/Scrum principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to support backlog management, story refinement, and sprint prioritization.
• Act as a servant leader by removing blockers and facilitating smooth delivery cycles.
• Track and report sprint velocity, progress, and key Agile performance metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8–10+ years of overall IT Project Management experience.
• 4–6+ years of ServiceNow project management experience, including implementations, upgrades, and module rollouts.
• Strong command of Agile/Scrum methodology and understanding of full project lifecycle management.
• Proven experience delivering various ServiceNow modules, such as:
• IT Service Management (ITSM)
• IT Business Management (ITBM)
• HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
• Customer Service Management (CSM)
• Security Operations (SecOps)
• Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to adapt and balance Waterfall and Agile approaches when required.
• Proficient in project management and collaboration tools such as:
• Jira
• ServiceNow Agile
• Confluence

Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have):

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Implementation Specialist

Work Location:

Hybrid remote in Toronto, Yonge Street
