ServiceNow Operations Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the ServiceNow platform according to product team definitions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and supporting the ServiceNow and Remedy platform while adhering to bank policies and standards
  • Leading and mentoring a team of operations specialists assigned to work on ServiceNow
  • Responding to incidents for application availability issues as part of on-call duties
  • Responding to incidents/pages for application functional issues or questions as part of daily duties
  • Using technical knowledge to triage service availability issues and restore service
  • Researching and resolving system defects, leading root cause analysis, and driving permanent resolution
  • Ensuring appropriate monitoring is in place and maintained to ensure application availability
  • Participating in software release implementation meetings
  • Participating in and coordinating maintenance activities
  • Preparing and maintaining application support/process documentation
  • Developing management jobs, automation routines, or deployment scripts

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
  • 2+ years experience supporting ServiceNow environments
  • 5+ years of experience with application & end-user support
  • Experience as an administrator in highly regulated environments
  • Experience monitoring and maintaining applications, supporting software engineering, maximizing data processing systems, building cloud-compatible services, and operating within an enterprise IT lifecycle
  • Experience supporting application integrations for security, risk, and compliance
  • Willingness to provide as-needed after-hours release support
  • Willingness to work on-call rotational weekend support shifts
