About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow ITSM & FSO Developer with strong expertise in Financial Services Operations (FSO) and IT Service Management (ITSM) modules. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on development experience, strong integration skills, and a proven track record in automating workflows across financial services environments.
Key Responsibilities
FSO Or Financial Services Operations (Mandatory)
Platform Architecture & Development
- Design, develop, test, and deploy customized ServiceNow solutions tailored to ITSM and FSO.
- Translate business requirements into scalable digital workflows to improve operational performance. Custom Scripting & Process Automation
- Develop and maintain UI policies, client scripts, script includes, and business rules.
- Automate processes using Flow Designer and legacy Workflow modules. Integration & API Management
- Build integrations between ServiceNow and external applications via REST APIs and scripted REST APIs.
- Configure custom Workspaces and dashboards with performance analytics. FSO-Specific Development
- Implement and optimize Financial Services Operations (FSO) modules, including dispute and case management.
- Embed risk and compliance controls into workflows and provide real-time analytics. Collaboration & Governance
- Work with IT and business stakeholders to align solutions with ITIL and financial workflows.
- Document changes, follow coding standards, and mentor junior developers. Required Experience & Skills
- 8-10 years of ServiceNow development experience with strong focus on ITSM and FSO modules.
- Proven experience developing end-to-end ITSM workflows (Incident, Problem, Change, Request).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (server-side and client-side scripting).
- Expertise with Flow Designer, Workflow modules, REST APIs, and scripted REST APIs.
- Experience designing Workspaces and Performance Analytics dashboards.
- Strong understanding of financial services operations, compliance, and risk management.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise system integrations (ERP, CRM, CMDB). Certifications (Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (ITSM or FSO) Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
