ServiceNow Developer/Lead Role

Job Summary

This position is for an experienced ServiceNow developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement IT service management strategies and approaches.
  • Contribute recommendations for implementation consideration spanning service management policies, guidelines, and processes.
  • Collaborate with distributed teams and clients.
  • Develop high-quality ServiceNow applications, including custom UIs and integrations.
  • Configure and administer ServiceNow applications, including security and workflow configurations.
  • Develop and maintain complex ServiceNow queries, reports, and dashboards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer.
  • Thorough knowledge of the ServiceNow System.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, XML.
  • Experience in REST, SOAP services, etc.
  • Understanding of ITIL and/or ITIL Certified.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude.
  • Certified System Administrator.

Preferred Skills:

  • BS Computer Science preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation Certified.
  • ServiceNow Developer Certifications.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.

Clearance Required: Public Trust or Secret clearance is required.
