ServiceNow Administrator/Developer Senior

At GovCIO, we're seeking a skilled ServiceNow Administrator/Developer Senior to support our US Coast Guard program. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work on complex IT projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Guides ITSM strategy, planning, and service delivery to emphasize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contributes ITSM-related recommendations for implementation consideration spanning across service management policies, guidelines, and processes.
• Designs and develops queries, reports, and dashboards in ServiceNow.
• Configures ServiceNow modules and forms to meet business needs.
• Administers ServiceNow applications, including security and workflow configurations.
• Develops scoped applications and service portals in ServiceNow.
• Provides additional support based on subject matter expertise.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience (or commensurate experience).

Required skills and experience:

• Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer in various roles.
• Thorough knowledge of the ServiceNow system.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, XML.
• Understanding of REST, SOAP services.
• ITIL foundation certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude.
• Certified system administrator.

Preferred skills and experience:

• BS Computer Science preferred.
• ITIL Foundation Certified.
• ServiceNow Developer Certifications.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.
