ServiceNow Administrator/Developer SME

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Administrator/Developer to support our US Coast Guard program. This position is fully remote.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITSM, with experience guiding strategy, planning, and service delivery to emphasize efficiency and effectiveness.

The selected individual will contribute ITSM-related recommendations for implementation consideration spanning across service management policies, guidelines, and processes.

The role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with remote teams and clients.

The responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing queries, reports, and dashboards
• Designing and configuring ServiceNow modules and forms
• Administering ServiceNow applications, including updating security and workflow configurations
• Providing additional support based on subject matter expertise

Requirements

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience or commensurate experience.

Additionally, they must possess:

• A minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience
• A minimum of 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer in various roles
• Thorough knowledge of the ServiceNow System
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, XML
• Experience in REST, SOAP services, etc
• An understanding of ITIL and/or ITIL Certified
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude
• Certified System Administrator

• BS Computer Science preferred
• ITIL Foundation Certified
• ServiceNow Developer Certifications
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
