Software Asset Management Professional

We are seeking a seasoned SAM Specialist with expertise in Microsoft enterprise software to join our global Software Asset Management function. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing software contract spend and ensuring compliance.

This challenging role requires a broad understanding of IT technology, service management processes, and collaboration with various stakeholders. You will work as part of an international team of SAM experts in five countries, managing a multi-million-dollar software portfolio.

Your key responsibilities will include subject matter expertise in Microsoft operations and competencies, advising on complex software licensing topics, and producing ELPs for Microsoft software. You will understand Microsoft licensing concepts and product use rights, navigate Microsoft software billing systems, and provide transparency of costs for software contracts.

Maintain stakeholder community engagement, identify initiatives for software-related savings, develop best practices and processes, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant proven experience with Microsoft software portfolios, creating full ELPs for server-based software, hands-on work with general Microsoft specific systems and usage billing tools, advanced MS Excel skills, and profit and loss calculations.
