ServiceNow Engineer

Location: Concord, CA(Hybrid)

Rate: $80 on W2

We are seeking a hands-on ServiceNow Specialist to accelerate the configuration and usability of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Workspace within ServiceNow.

This role will focus on integrating legacy data, configuring the EA data model, and enabling interoperability across ServiceNow modules to support enterprise architecture outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to rapidly configure and operationalize the EA Workspace in ServiceNow.
• Lead the migration of data from legacy systems into ServiceNow, ensuring data integrity and usability.
• Configure and optimize the EA data model within ServiceNow to align with enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Enable interoperability between EA Workspace and other ServiceNow modules (e.g., CMDB, ITBM, APM).
• Work closely with architecture, platform, and data teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Support data governance, quality, and lifecycle management within the EA module.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for ServiceNow configuration and scripting.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with ServiceNow, especially EA Workspace, CMDB, and related modules.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate).
• Hands-on experience with data migration, transformation, and modeling in ServiceNow.
• Ability to configure ServiceNow data models and workflows to meet business and architecture needs.
• Familiarity with scripting in ServiceNow (JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially in cross-functional environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with legacy system data extraction and integration tools.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow APIs and integration patterns.
• Background in ITSM, ITOM, or ITBM modules is a plus.
• Certifications in ServiceNow and/or Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
