Senior Web Developer for Customized Service Portals

Job Opportunity: ServiceNow Portal Developer, Senior The role of the ServiceNow Portal Developer involves designing and developing custom portal pages and reusable widgets using the Service Portal and Now Experience framework.

• Designing and building custom service portal pages and reusable widgets using the Service Portal and Now Experience framework
• Creating user-friendly interfaces aligned with provided designs and ensuring responsiveness across various browsers and devices
• Utilizing web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap, React, or Angular to develop portal features and components
• Integrating custom widgets and pages with backend ServiceNow workflows and external systems using APIs
• Monitoring and resolving performance bottlenecks, troubleshooting UI-related issues, and optimizing portals for speed and efficiency
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Creating code documentation, user guides, and writing Automated Test Framework (ATF) tests to ensure code quality Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree and/or 5-10 years of experience, TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly, proven experience in ServiceNow portal development, strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and web accessibility standards, proficiency in ServiceNow Service Portal and Now Experience frameworks, strong coding skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, experience with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, React, or Angular, familiarity with integrating backend workflows and APIs, excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, and understanding of ServiceNow architecture and best practices.
