OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a ServiceNow Architect for a full-time permanent hybrid role in Yonkers, NY.

• Onsite work is required (once per quarter or as needed). Must be local to the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut*
• *Successful candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to go W2**

OVERVIEW:

Working closely with IT directors, product leads, vendors, implementation teams and staff, this position is responsible for providing strategic guidance, technical design and oversight of foundational configuration of applications across the Health System. The IT Architect acts as the liaison between solution stakeholders, questions assumptions and drives change to mitigate potential risks most specifically with evaluating new technology. The IT Architect provides outstanding client service and contributes to the organization’s mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:

• Analyze business and application requirements and present architectural solutions for various environments within the Client’s departments, both in a lead and complementary role.
• Provide technology recommendations and improvements to Senior Leadership.
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of architectural reference documents which ensure consistent deployable solution designs.
• Manage relationships with the various internal technical and non-technical business groups to ensure solutions delivered align with business goals and requirements.

Technical Expertise and Support:

• Maintain a high level of technical expertise and business knowledge.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert in area of specialization.
• Solve or assist with solving technical problems when they arise.
• Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals.

Solution Architecture:

• Take ownership for architecting comprehensive, functional technology solutions.
• Participate in architectural review of proposed projects and contribute from the perspective of application architecture, operational feasibility, and system usage.

Mentoring & Guidance:

• Provide technical leadership and support to technical teams; product owners and leadership.
• Communicate system requirements to technical teams.

Project Management Support:

• Utilize project management skills to determine required resources, build teams and flow out project tasks.
• Develop budget for technical solution.
• Lead teams and provide direction, ensuring projects are on track and are not delayed by technical issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow GRC.
• Hands-on experience with solution design.
• Experience in managing projects and working as a Lead to independently manage complex work.
• Understanding of strategic IT solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and business leaders.
• Organizational and leadership skills.
• Must be local to the tri state area and commute costs to come onsite are at your expense, not covered.
• On an as-needed basis, provide on-site support (averages once per quarter).
