Our team at Crossfuze is seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant to provide guidance and develop solutions for our customers within the ServiceNow environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work remotely with distributed teams.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing hands-on development assistance, including form configuration, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations.
  • Coordinating with Engagement Managers and Customer stakeholders to understand business requirements and rationale behind changes to existing functionality as well as new functionality to be deployed.
  • Drafting user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategy, and knowledge transfer while supporting customers in reviewing and approving them.
  • Answering technical and application configuration questions.
  • Configuring and customizing new applications and modules within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Implementing new functionality for customers while following ServiceNow best practices.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and release management.
  • Providing analysis of problems and possible solutions.
  • Producing detailed documentation on all work completed.
  • Leading technical implementation teams, including code review for less experienced consultants.
  • Developing and configuring required integration components such as SSO, LDAP, and APIs.
  • Developing and enhancing ServiceNow portal components to improve user experience.
  • Enabling customers' ServiceNow administrators to be self-sufficient wherever possible.
  • Conducting technical training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Researching systems and/or programs to determine causes of failure or poor operational performance; then defining, testing, and implementing detailed solutions.
  • Maintaining 80% billable utilization target.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow.
  • 3+ years of experience with common web technologies and networking (e.g., XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, TCP/IP).
  • A strong understanding of ITIL methodologies and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, SLM, Service Catalog).
  • Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) using authentication methods such as token-based authentication, SAML 1.1, and SAML 2.0.
  • Familiarity with integrations using REST/SOAP web services.
  • The ability to work remotely and collaborate with distributed teams.
  • The ability to understand and implement complex end-user requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
