Associate Application Security Engineer Intern

Join ServiceNow’s Application Security Team to identify vulnerabilities, collaborate with researchers, and enhance cloud security for a leading SaaS provider.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Identify security vulnerabilities within the ServiceNow platform.
• Interface with external researchers and customers performing security assessments.
• Run dynamic security testing tools and plan security projects.
• Advocate for security best practices across teams.
• Report issues to application owners with remediation recommendations.
• Validate resolution of identified security issues.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Current enrollment in a full-time Bachelor's program in Computer Science or related discipline at an accredited university.
• Graduation date of December 2026 or later.
• Experience leveraging or critically thinking about AI integration in workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving.
• Developer-level proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Previous management of a bug bounty or responsible disclosure program.
• Strong understanding of web and mobile application security assessment techniques.
• Ability to articulate complex issues to executives and customers.
• Experience with the ServiceNow Platform is a plus.
• Security certifications are a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident with 3 years residency, eligible for US security clearance due to Federal environment work.
