Lead Associate Principal,: DevOps - Cloud - ServiceNow

SALARY: $140k - $186k plus 15% bonus

LOCATION: Chicago, IL

Hybrid 3 days onsite

Cloud engineering strategy. Design implementation devops infrastructure. Cloud engineering, container orchestration and automation. Hands on experience with ServiceNow - ITSM, ITOM, Kafka harness vault Jenkins and artifactory

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud engineering, container orchestration, and automation, with a strong background in providing Level 2 technical support and managing enterprise service management platforms like ServiceNow.

Responsibilities:

Incident Management & Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure incident management policies and best practices.

Cloud Engineering: Support and manage applications and services in a hybrid- cloud environment such as AWS. Ensure optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security.

Container Orchestration: Support Kubernetes clusters for containerized application deployment, scaling, and management.

ServiceNow Integration: Configure and integrate DevOps tools and processes with the ServiceNow platform to automate incident management and support other IT service workflows.

Technical Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for Level 2 technical issues, troubleshooting complex problems related to software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and application performance.

Qualifications:

Experience providing Level 2 technical support in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Technical Skills:

Cloud Engineering on at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Proven experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, Kafka, Harness, Vault, Jenkins and Artifactory.

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including ITSM, ITOM, and other relevant modules.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, or similar role.
