Senior Technical ServiceNow Professional
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technical ServiceNow Professional to provide expert-level support and guidance to our customers on leveraging the full potential of the ServiceNow platform.
The successful candidate will develop tailored solutions for our customers' ServiceNow environments, work closely with stakeholders, create user stories, and lead technical implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer advanced development assistance, including form setup, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting, and integration with third-party software
- Collaborate with Engagement Managers and Customer stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and knowledge transfer plans while supporting customers in reviewing and approving them
- Provide expertise on technical and application configuration matters
- Configure and customize new applications and modules within the ServiceNow platform
- Implement new features for customers while adhering to ServiceNow best practices
- Support the resolution of ServiceNow upgrade, patching, and release management issues
- Deliver analysis of problems and proposed solutions
- Lead technical implementation teams, including code reviews for junior consultants
- Develop and enhance ServiceNow portal components to enhance user experience
- Empower our customers' ServiceNow administrators to become self-sufficient
- Conduct technical training and knowledge transfer sessions
- Investigate systems and/or programs to identify causes of failure or suboptimal performance; Maintain 80% billable utilization target
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow
- ~3+ years of experience with common web technologies and networking (e.g., XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, TCP/IP)
- ~ Strong understanding of ITIL methodologies and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, SLM, Service Catalog)
- ~ Familiarity with integrations using REST/SOAP web services
- ~ Ability to work remotely and collaborate with distributed teams
- ~ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification in two or more application areas
