ServiceNow Technical Architect Role Overview

This position is a key part of an extensive portfolio aimed at driving efficiency and reducing costs in line with government objectives. The successful candidate will support a strategic digital transformation initiative focused on optimising ServiceNow capabilities across a major government department. Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure that IRM Entity Hierarchies are aligned with CSDM to guarantee risk association is fully integrated and maintainable.
• Design integration patterns for transitioning user access to zScaler, including risk assessments and Design Authority documentation.
• Support the expansion of the SPM module to become the central portfolio management platform across Digital and non-Digital Transformation.
• Define secure patterns for exposing ServiceNow OOB REST APIs, enabling faster delivery for squads accessing platform data.
• Assist in delivering complex HR case management capabilities using HRSD, focusing on out-of-the-box functionality and minimal customisation. Essential Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in ServiceNow architecture and module optimisation.
• Active SC Clearance
• Strong understanding of IRM, CSDM, SPM, HRSD and API security best practices.
• Ability to produce high-quality design documentation and risk assessments.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and Delivery.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to respond to detailed technical and scenario-based questions.
