Overview
- The ServiceNow Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with a primary focus on Employee Experience and HR product suites. The role involves leading discovery efforts, designing transformation roadmaps, conducting assessments, and driving best practices across HRSD, sourcing, and procurement processes. The architect will also configure, customize, and integrate ServiceNow modules while enabling innovation aligned with business priorities and industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Lead product implementation within the ServiceNow Employee and HR product suite.
- Develop a comprehensive thought leadership strategy with ServiceNow at the core, aligned to business objectives and industry trends.
- Lead discovery efforts to design transformation roadmaps for employee experience and HR operations using ServiceNow HRSD and Employee Center Pro.
- Assess current ServiceNow Employee and HR implementations, recommending gaps, improvement areas, and continual transformation opportunities.
- Lead discovery and transformation roadmaps for sourcing and procurement processes using the ServiceNow Finance & Supply Chain product suite.
- Conduct workshops with customers to understand business imperatives, technology landscape, and transformation priorities; recommend right-fit solutions and architectures.
- Map customer business problems to ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment to best practices.
- Design, create, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules (HRSD, Employee Center Pro, Now Mobile, and others).
- Develop solutions using an “architecture-first” principle.
- Configure script objects such as Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies/Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs.
- Set up integrations between ServiceNow and other platforms.
- Perform system and integration testing; support agile sprints with timely delivery of technical stories.
- Recommend ServiceNow administration settings and best practices.
- Create documentation including development artifacts, test cases, and implementation plans.
- Work effectively in diverse, inclusive teams and recognize contributions of all team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7–13 years of experience in ServiceNow technology.
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform, specifically Employee Center Pro and Now Mobile.
Strong background in solution architecture and technical design with a focus on:
- Employee Center Pro
- Now Mobile
- Knowledge Management
- HR process alignment
- Integration technologies
- Proven experience leading at least one full design, architecture, and implementation of Employee Center Pro.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employee self-service portals.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and APIs.
- Hands-on experience architecting, solutioning, implementing, and configuring Employee Center Pro and Now Mobile.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
- Experience with ServiceNow Knowledge Management and taxonomy design.
- Ability to lead customer workshops, recommend right-fit solutions, and present best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments using SCRUM methodology.
Good to Have
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or Admin modules.
- Prior experience with HCM platforms such as Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, Workday, or SAP SuccessFactors.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – HRSD.
- Experience in service catalog rationalization and catalog item workflows.
- UI development experience in ServiceNow portals (branding, SP pages, widgets) and web technologies (AngularJS 1.x, Bootstrap 3, CSS, HTML).
- Familiarity with BFSI domain.
- Self-starter mindset with strong customer-facing skills; ability to build trust and lead client meetings.

Base Pay: $98,770.00 - $157,205.00 per year
