ServiceNow CMDB Specialist

Job Overview: The CMDB Analyst II will be part of the Service Management team, supporting the Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB) utilizing the ServiceNow platform. Key responsibilities include serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ServiceNow CMDB, proactively identifying technical deficiencies and providing solution recommendations, developing and maintaining CMDB technical best practices and procedures, and creating dynamic, interactive dashboards and reports tailored to specific audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as SME for the ServiceNow CMDB.
• Proactively identify CMDB technical deficiencies and provide solution recommendations.
• Develop and maintain CMDB technical best practices and procedures.
• Create dynamic, interactive dashboards and reports.
• Manage ITSM backlog of ServiceNow stories related to the CMDB.
• Oversee operational projects related to the CMDB.
• Partner with the ITSM Team on designing and delivering the strategy for Configuration Management processes.
• Ensure a single source of truth for all Configuration Items.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent selection criteria experience.
• Demonstrated advanced experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management Processes.
• Proven experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and knowledge of agile development and testing best practices from a Process Owner perspective.
• Strong communication skills to convey information accurately to stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
