Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced ServiceNow Developer / Lead with 14+ years of overall IT/software development experience, including a minimum of 8+ years in ServiceNow design, development, and implementation. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across ServiceNow products, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead development efforts while collaborating with business and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new ServiceNow applications to meet evolving business requirements.
- Customize workflows, scripts, and automations to enhance existing ServiceNow applications and improve processes.
- Develop and manage web portals using JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Angular for both internal and external clients.
- Monitor and ensure platform health, compliance, and performance of ServiceNow and its applications.
- Collaborate with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow-related issues.
- Provide technical leadership during problem-solving, testing, and production support.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise business systems.
- Develop standalone ServiceNow tools, dashboards, and reporting modules to support ITSM and project workflows.
- Configure and manage all ServiceNow objects including Tables, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, UI Pages, and Macros.
- Plan, deploy, and validate ServiceNow patches, upgrades, and version releases.
Technical Requirements
- 14+ years of IT/software development experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and implementation across ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITBM, or SecOps.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern web technologies, with expertise in reusable and scalable coding practices.
- Strong experience in workflow configuration, automation, and platform integrations.
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and platform components.
- Hands-on experience managing ServiceNow upgrades and patch deployments.
