Senior Software Engineer - ServiceNow

ServiceNow Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Platform Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

This role requires a Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification from ServiceNow, as well as experience developing and supporting production applications. Strong analytical, mathematic, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, communicate complex information effectively, and demonstrate Agile delivery values such as Openness, Commitment, Respect, Courage, and Focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve in a leadership capacity on large-scale Application Development projects
• Drive technical validity of solution design
• Coordinate issues resolution activities with stakeholders
• Develop business and technical process documentation and training materials
• Review problem logs, identify recurring problems, and implement long-term resolutions
• Provide coaching and development to junior Application Developers
• Coordinate 3rd party development teams
• Participate in Agile teams
• Design and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using ServiceNow scripting languages
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve production problems related to the ServiceNow platform

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Two+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform
• Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification from ServiceNow
• Experience developing and supporting production applications
• Strong team player with ability to work with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, mathematic, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills: Additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
