Job Description:
The ideal consultant will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our ServiceNow platform, with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM), Change Management (CM), Configurations, and Discovery. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the effective use and management of the ServiceNow platform in alignment with business objectives.
Thorough knowledge of ServiceNow modules like ITSM, HR, CSM, DRP and the underlying architecture is required. The consultant will administer and support the ServiceNow platform, existing modules including IT Infrastructure Discovery, collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new functionalities and enhancements, perform daily operational tasks such as managing incidents, service requests, changes, and problem records, and implement complex workflows using ServiceNow's workflow engine. Proficient in JavaScript for writing ServiceNow scripts and customizations is also necessary.
Strong experience in Service now service mapping to discover and track business services and their underlying infrastructure components is required. The consultant will develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures, provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of the ServiceNow platform, and support and perform in service now upgrades with new release versions.
