ServiceNow Business Analyst Role

We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our growing internal team. As a key member of the ServiceNow platform, you will play a critical role in capturing requirements, advising on best practices, and ensuring delivery of robust solutions that meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a ServiceNow Business Analyst, with strong configuration experience in Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, Form Design, and UI Actions. Familiarity with CSM, ITSM, CMDB, Service Portal, Service Catalogue, Performance Analytics, and Reporting is also essential.

You will work closely with large enterprise clients and internal teams, representing user needs during planning, development, and delivery phases. Excellent stakeholder management skills are required, including the ability to challenge clients constructively and advise on best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and translate business/user requirements into clear deliverables (Agile stories)
  • Design and configure ServiceNow applications and workflows
  • Support testing, deployment, and user adoption processes
  • Provide ongoing BAU support for incidents and requests
  • Act as a key stakeholder interface providing challenge, guidance, and best-practice advice
  • Collaborate closely with large enterprise clients and internal teams
  • Represent user needs during planning, development, and delivery phases

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Business Analyst
  • Strong configuration experience: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, Form Design, UI Actions
  • Familiarity with CSM, ITSM, CMDB, Service Portal, Service Catalogue, Performance Analytics, and Reporting
  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and lifecycle
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills being confident challenging clients constructively and advising on best practices
  • Experience working with large enterprise customers or estates
  • Must have, or be eligible for, SC Clearance
