  • Network Operations Center Process Knowledge
  • Incident (ticket) Management, Repair Processes
  • Change Management (Change Request) Processes

  • Navigating the system, understanding how to find and do things
  • Understanding the Role of the different modules (in order: CMDB, TSM, TSOM, nice to have FSM, CSM)
  • TSOM Fault and Performance Management
  • Understanding terminology (CI, Relationships, why this is important)
  • Understanding Class and Relationship Structure and how they work together
  • Discovery (multi-source CMDB)
  • Typical NOC System Architecture (Ecosystem)
  • Understanding of how the systems are used and how they work together
  • E.g. Network > EMS (domain) > NMS (cross domain) > Incidents
  • Data Analytics
  • Ability to review data and performing analysis to identify business challenges and identify the baseline for solution designs, etc and business benefits
