Applications Engineer – ServiceNow

About the Role

The Applications Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the global ServiceNow platform.

Key responsibilities include administering and managing ServiceNow upgrades, configurations, and patching, as well as designing and implementing scalable platform enhancements per ServiceNow best practices.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Manage ServiceNow upgrades, configurations, and patching
• Design and implement scalable platform enhancements per ServiceNow best practices
• Maintain and monitor MID Servers to ensure high availability and optimal configuration
• Provide day-to-day operational support across ServiceNow modules (ITSM/ITOM)
• Lead integrations using ServiceNow Integration Hub
• Collaborate on Agile/Scrum teams to gather requirements and define user stories
• Evaluate and report on service quality and other key metrics
• Develop dashboards and customized reporting for key stakeholders
• Support ITSM governance and process adherence

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience: 4+ years working with ServiceNow (ITSM/ITOM modules) and 4+ years in IT operations with cross-functional collaboration
• Skills: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and best practices
• Preferring Skills: Experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro, Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM frameworks, Hands-on experience with CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping, Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
