About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Manager, Partner Marketing – AWS to lead strategic co-marketing and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This externally facing role is central to shaping how we go to market with AWS—across campaigns, pipeline acceleration, and field alignment—and in ensuring we meet the expectations tied to joint marketing investments and partnership commitments. You’ll be responsible for building and scaling marketing programs that align to strategic priorities and deliver impact across brand awareness, demand generation, and sales pipeline. This includes integrating Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies, executing joint campaigns across industries and solutions, and activating 3-way partnerships across all routes to market—including resell, co-sell, and marketplace motions with and through the broader partner ecosystem. This role requires experience working directly with or for AWS, strong GTM and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partner GTM Planning & Execution
Lead integrated GTM planning with AWS to support shared business goals and marketing investment commitments.
Develop and execute scalable joint campaigns aligned to strategic initiatives like AI adoption, cloud migration, industry-specific solutions, and security transformation.
Embed ABM strategies into joint programs to drive targeted engagement, deepen account penetration, and accelerate pipeline.
Ecosystem Co-Marketing & 3-Way Plays
- Orchestrate 3-way GTM programs with AWS and additional partners—such as ISVs, GSIs, and resellers—to drive multi-partner motions across co-sell, resell, and marketplace routes to market.
- Identify and amplify scalable campaign plays and solution bundles that align with top ecosystem priorities.
- Collaborate across global and regional teams to execute joint activations with field and partner sales alignment.
Campaign & Program Management
- Plan and execute strategic sponsorships and activations at AWS re:Invent and ServiceNow Knowledge, ensuring our joint messaging and presence is impactful and aligned with core GTM themes.
- Oversee end-to-end campaign development—including messaging, content, digital promotion, events, and demand gen programs—leveraging both internal resources and AWS partner programs (e.g., APN, MDF).
- Measure, optimize, and report performance across key metrics such as engagement, influenced pipeline, and ROI.
Partner & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for AWS and act as the connective tissue across internal teams (sales, alliances, product, field marketing).
- Build trust-based relationships with AWS field and marketing leaders, understanding their goals and co-creating value-driven marketing initiatives.
- Deliver executive-level reporting and insights on partnership progress and marketing impact.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Stay ahead of AWS program developments, industry trends, and new marketing tactics to bring fresh, forward-looking ideas into play.
- Represent the company at AWS and ecosystem events, contributing to panels, executive briefings, and industry conversations where appropriate. Qualifications
- 10+ years in partner or B2B marketing, with direct experience working with or for AWS on co-marketing and GTM programs.
- Strong understanding of AWS partner programs, routes to market (resell, co-sell, marketplace), and funding structures (e.g., MDF, co-op).
- Proven success developing integrated GTM strategies, including Account-Based Marketing (ABM), pipeline acceleration, and co-branded campaigns.
- Experience leading cross-partner initiatives with ISVs, GSIs, and resellers in multi-way partnership constructs.
- Executive presence, outstanding collaboration skills, and ability to influence in a highly matrixed environment.
- Comfort managing large budgets and demonstrating marketing performance with data-driven insights.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
