ServiceNow Solution Architect Job

A seasoned ServiceNow professional is required to lead the implementation of ITIL processes, ITSM, CSM, Knowledge, Demand and Release Management modules within the ServiceNow platform.

This key role will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing best practices and standards specific to the technology used.

  • Design and develop ITIL processes, ITSM, CSM, Knowledge, Demand and Release Management modules within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Implement technology specific best practices and standards.
  • Evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective options.

Key Responsibilities: Implementation and Development

  • Provide subject matter expertise as a technical product advocate.
  • Design, develop and implement ITIL processes, ITSM, CSM, Knowledge, Demand and Release Management modules within the ServiceNow platform. Technical Design and Architecture
  • Propose data model, design changes to processes and products, exerting significant latitude in determining objectives of an assignment.
  • Translate requirements into functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop technical design documents. Quality Assurance and Testing
  • Review and refine designs for usability.
  • Review testing scenarios and refine test cases, ensuring applications quality.
  • Support and coordinate scheduling and execution of releases, product upgrades, new technology deployments. Beyond Implementation
  • Evaluate new features and produce comprehensive analysis and recommendations.
  • Participate in product roadmap planning.
  • Maintain detailed system documentation including design specs, maintenance, troubleshooting, deployment, disaster recovery, tech notes, and testing.

The ideal candidate will have experience with agile methodologies/tools and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to describe technical solutions in terms of business needs. Additionally, they should have hands-on design, development, and deployment experience with the ServiceNow platform and ongoing awareness of tools, techniques, and best practices related to ServiceNow and IT Service Management.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related fields
  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience
  • Practical experience with agile methodologies/tools
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to describe technical solutions in terms of business needs
  • ITIL Foundation certification is required
  • Hands-on design, development, and deployment experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • Ongoing awareness of tools, techniques, and best practices related to ServiceNow and IT Service Management
