ServiceNow Development Professional

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow development professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. About the Role

• Responsibilities:
• Create custom applications using best practices.
• Configure core modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
• Write and debug complex Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs.
• Develop REST/SOAP API integrations with third-party systems, including secure authentication and data transformation.
• Analyze instance performance, optimize queries, and implement indexing or architectural improvements.
• Manage instance upgrades and implement new features as ServiceNow evolves.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold development standards.
• Build automated tests using ATF or third-party tools to ensure stability across deployments.
• Maintain technical documentation and align with ITSM/ITIL frameworks.
• Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and platform architects to translate business needs into technical solutions. Requirements
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Certifications (Preferred): Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer, ITIL Foundation or above.
• Technical Skills: Strong JavaScript and Glide API expertise, experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Scoped Applications.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and debugging ability, strong written and verbal communication, ability to lead technical discussions and drive decisions. Benefits
