Project Overview:

Build comprehensive ServiceNow data extraction module for Æthux Atlas MVP 2.0 - Enterprise Technology Intelligence Platform. Must deliver production-ready solution matching the robustness of our SAP RFC integration.

Core Requirements:

ServiceNow Expertise:

4+ years ServiceNow development (CSA/CAD certified required)

Expert-level REST API development and Table API usage

CMDB data modeling and asset lifecycle management

ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts)

Integration Hub and Flow Designer experience

ServiceNow security model and OAuth2 implementation

Technical Implementation:

Build Python-based ServiceNow connector similar to our SAP PyRFC solution

Extract CMDB assets, CI relationships, and license data

Implement progressive sampling for large datasets (greater than 10K assets)

SHA3-256 data integrity verification and conflict resolution

Comprehensive error handling with intelligent retry logic

Multiple extraction methods: REST API + CSV export fallbacks

Enterprise Integration:

MID Server configuration and troubleshooting

Cross-system data correlation (ServiceNow ↔ SAP ↔ Azure DevOps)

Air-gapped environment support with FIPS 140-2 compliance

Role-based access control (RBAC) implementation

Deliverables:

ServiceNow Connector Module - Production-ready Python integration

Data Extraction Framework - Multi-method approach with fallbacks

Enterprise Coordination Scripts - IT team coordination automation

Comprehensive Documentation - Installation, configuration, troubleshooting

Must-Have Experience:

ServiceNow-to-external system integrations (minimum 3 projects)

Large enterprise CMDB implementations (1000+ CIs)

Python development with enterprise security requirements

Network connectivity troubleshooting and firewall coordination

Experience with asset discovery and license optimization

Preferred Experience:

Financial services or highly regulated industry background

SAP integration experience (understands enterprise complexity)
