Job Description:
The Systems Development Engineering Manager and ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) Manager is a key role responsible for leading the development, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and software components. This position will oversee teams working on large-scale projects contributing to the strategic vision in software development.
This individual will be responsible for unlocking the value of the ServiceNow HRSD product, shaping product strategy, and managing the deployment team. They will deliver technology, services, and solutions within our ServiceNow HRSD product and surrounding capabilities, implementing and improving digital products that empower Sherwin-Williams employees globally.
The Manager will partner with Product Owners, Digital Employee Experience product teams, Platform teams, and business stakeholders to provide digital solutions, align with enterprise employee experience initiatives, and prioritize product roadmap initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and execute policies to ensure effective and efficient software applications
- Lead teams in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems infrastructure
- Establish objectives, policies, and procedures for department operations
- Advise teams on moderately complex matters relating to application development and implementation
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver digital solutions and align with enterprise initiatives
- Foster a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect
- Set employee objectives, monitor performance, and provide meaningful feedback and mentorship
- Support employee career development and implement talent strategies through hiring, onboarding, learning & development, performance management, succession planning, engagement, recognition, and inclusion, diversity, and equity practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in the Information Technology (IT) field; at least 10 years of experience in IT in lieu of a degree
- 7+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years of experience managing direct reports
- Preferred: 7+ years experience in HR Technology with a focus on ServiceNow HRSD, demonstrated experience leading HRSD implementations, expertise with configurations and integrations with Oracle HCM or equivalent platforms
Work Environment:
- This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days
- Travel required: 10%
