Senior ServiceNow Development Specialist

Position Overview: We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Development Specialist to join our dynamic team, contributing to innovative technical support initiatives for a large Federal agency. What You Will Do:

• Utilize Angular.JS, JavaScript, SQL, and other related technologies to develop within the ServiceNow platform.
• Engage in discovery sessions, gather requirements, and build essential ServiceNow functionalities.
• Implement multiple HR Service Requests as part of the HRSD scope within ServiceNow.
• Develop applications that facilitate employee service requests directed to HR and manage the HR fulfillment process.
• Refactor software customizations in ServiceNow during major system updates to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with fellow developers and analysts in an Agile development environment.
• Understand backend configurations in ServiceNow, design tests, and build test data effectively.
• Support the configuration, change, and release management processes.
• Maintain accountability for the completion and accuracy of deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-7 years of related experience, with at least 2 years of development experience in ServiceNow.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• Proven experience in creating reports, dashboards, customized forms, and workflows within ServiceNow.
• Experience with Agile Development and Test Management applications of ServiceNow.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deliver functional software releases at a sustainable pace in Agile environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery application.
• Familiarity with Human Resources business processes.
• Experience in business analysis or requirements gathering.
