Sr. ServiceNow Developer (VR/CC SecOps)

As a Sr. ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for developing and administering Vulnerability Response (VR) and Configuration Compliance (CC) modules in ServiceNow. This includes providing architectural, design, configuration/development, and operational support for VR and CC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, administer, and support ServiceNow VR and CC modules
  • Provide solutions in terms of architecture, design, and operational support for ServiceNow VR and CC modules
  • Install and configure VR and CC plugins for lower environments (DEV, QA, UAT, ARCH, Training)
  • Design, configure/develop, and operate solutions related to integrations, customized CI lookup Rules, Watch Topics, Assignment Rules, Grouping Rules, Risk Calculator Rules, Remediation Target Rules, Auto Close/Auto Delete Rules, Exception Rules, Notifications, Classification Rules, SLA definition, Severity/Normality Mapping, Classification Rules, and Background Jobs
  • Develop solutions to enrich Vulnerability Items and Test Result Records and other VR and CC tables to enhance VR and CC capabilities
  • Support Remediation process flows for Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance
  • Design, configure, and support data integrations (REST API) and schedules (Qualys, WIZ, Solution Manager, Threat Intelligence, NVD, JIRA, Salesforce Spoke, Webhook, Other)
  • Design, configure, and support Flow Designer flows and sub-flows leveraging REST API for data exchange
  • Leverage JIRA as part of the SDLC Agile Development process (ServiceNow VR/CC Story creation, Sprint Planning, Point Estimation, Testing, and Deployment Documentation creation, Deployment for lower environments and support Preproduction and Production Deployments)
  • Provide VR and CC support (SN Admin and VR/CC Admin) for lower environments (DEV, QA, UAT, ARCH, Training)
  • Liaise with ServiceNow Platform Administrators (enterprise level) as it relates to VR and CC impacts on ServiceNow Platform configuration and properties
  • Liaise with CMDB Team to enhance CMDB as it relates to VR and CC data requirements
  • Design Runbooks for Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance processes and procedures
  • Enhance Reporting capability of both VR and CC as it relates to Reports and Performance Analytics
  • Customize and support VR and CC roles and groups
  • Plan and support VR and CC and dependencies upgrades

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent professional experience
  • 5-7 years of ServiceNow development, administration, implementation, and integration experience
  • 4+ years of experience developing configuring ServiceNow with 2 years specific expertise with Vulnerability Response (VR) and Configuration Compliance (CC) Modules, Performance Analytics for VR, Performance Analytics for CC
  • A current CIS-Vulnerability Response or CIS-Configuration Compliance certification
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator, Application Developer, Implementation Specialist (CSA, CAD, CIS)
  • 4 years of ServiceNow development experience
  • 2 years of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) experience
  • 2 years of ServiceNow Configuration Compliance (CC) experience
  • 2 years of experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer
  • 3 years of ServiceNow operational support experience
  • ServiceNow Spoke configuration and support (JIRA Spoke or Salesforce Spoke a plus)
  • 3 years of JavaScript development experience
  • Service Portals (Widgets, Server Scripting, Client Scripting, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Portal Configuration)
  • ServiceNow version upgrade experience; Rome, San Diego, Tokyo, Utah (DEV/QA/UAT)
  • Excellent communication skills, team player, drives processes with the team structures

Logistics:

  • Location: Remote in CA, WA, OR, CO, GA, VA, MD, or DC
  • Must be willing to work 8-5 M-F Pacific Time
  • Contract role through end of the year with potential for extension and/or conversion to permanent
  • COVID-19 vaccine and booster required or must provide valid medical exemption from doctor in advance
  • Must be able to successfully pass a 12-panel drug screen, 10-year background check, employment verification
