PMO Consultant

Must work on our W2 Hybrid opportunity 3 days onsite Job Summary: DTI is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced PMO Consultant to support the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) remediation project at our client. The consultant will be embedded within a cross-functional cybersecurity initiative, managing reporting, planning, and stakeholder engagement activities across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Develop and update burn-down charts to track remediation progress.
• Assist with the creation and management of the requirements traceability matrix.
• Track requirement completion criteria and link to evidence artifacts for validation.
• Provide weekly progress updates to technical team leads.
• Prepare and deliver weekly status reports to the steering committee.
• Support and maintain the RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) register.
• Assist in identifying and escalating roadblocks impacting project delivery.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and IT teams to align efforts with NIST CSF domains.
• Coordinate PMO governance, status tracking, and resource planning.
• Ensure adherence to client and end client PMO and reporting standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in project management or PMO support roles.
• Strong understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and its practical implementation.
• Proven experience in requirements tracking and compliance documentation.
• Proficiency in project tracking tools such as MS Project, Jira, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Strong communication and reporting skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification preferred.
• Experience working in regulated public utility preferred.
